Sanjay Manjrekar picked India’s playing XI for WTC final: Jadeja didn’t get a chance

Recently, former Team India cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar has selected India’s playing XI for the final of WTC 2021, in which he has not given Jadeja a chance.

The final match of the ICC World Test Championship 2021 is to be played between India and New Zealand cricket teams from 18 July. For this match, former Indian cricket team batsman Sanjay Manjrekar has selected his favorite playing-11.

Sanjay Manjrekar has selected this Indian cricket team keeping in mind the condition of England. He has not given place to India’s main all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja in his playing-11.

This former Indian cricketer while talking to ESPN Cricinfo said that I am assuming that you have a very typical England condition. He said that I am also assuming that the whole five days of this test are sunny and cloudy.

Former India legend Sanjay Manjrekar has included Test specialist batsman Hanuma Bihari in his playing XI. About the same, he said that before getting injured on the Australian tour, he had presented a very spectacular batting view.

The Indian cricket team also needs a lower-order batsman who has a lot of excellent technique. For the Indian team, except Cheteshwar Pujara, no batsman in the upper order has such style as Hanuma Bihari has.

In such a situation, I would like to keep Hanuma Bihari at number 6 in my team and then Rishabh Pant at number seven. The Indian cricket team has not played any practice match on the soil of England and because of this, the Indian cricket team should have good batting depth.

Whereas Sanjay Manjrekar said about keeping Mohammed Siraj in his team that I would like to keep swing fast bowler Mohammed Siraj in my team.

Because he performed very well in the last series against Australia. And he also took 5 wickets hall during that time. It was very difficult to keep fast bowlers like him out of the playing XI.

Whereas Shami is the same bowler like Jasprit Bumrah and Ishant Sharma. But Mohammad Siraj is very different from these three bowlers.

I will go with Siraj during this time but maybe India due to some reasons Ishant Sharma can be fed in the team.

Playing XI selected by Sanjay Manjrekar:

Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli (C), Ajinkya Rahane, Hanuma Bihari, Rishabh Pant (WK), Ravichandran Ashwin, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj.
