RCB opener Devdutt Padikkal created history: became the third uncapped player to score a century in IPL

IPL 2021: In the 14th season of IPL 2021, Royal Challengers Bangalore team opener Devdutt Paddikal scored his first century at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.

He played an unbeaten 101 runs match against Rajasthan Royals and after doing so, he made history. As a result, he has now become the third uncapped batsman to score a century in the Indian Premier League.

Devdutt Padikkal and captain Virat Kohli chased the target by sharing an unbeaten 181 runs for the first wicket. This is the first wicket partnership for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the history of the Indian Premier League.

For RCB, young batsman Devdutt Padikkal played an unbeaten inning of 101 runs facing 52 balls. During this innings, Devdutt Padikkal hit 11 fours and 6 sixes.

This is the first century of young opener Devadatta Paddikal in the Indian Premier League. The same Indian team and RCB captain Virat Kohli also played outstanding innings of 72 not out, facing 47 balls.

During this innings, Virat Kohli also blew Y fours and 3 skyscraper sixes. Along with this, captain Virat Kohli has also completed his 6000 runs in IPL.

Virat Kohli has also become the first batsman to score 6000 runs in IPL. The team of Rajasthan Royals, batting first in this match, scored a score of 177 runs at the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs.
