IPL 2021: There is good news for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team, Hasaranga and Dushmantha Chameera will get a chance to play in the IPL Phase 2.
Sri Lankan Cricket announced on Sunday that Dushmantha Chameera and Wanindu Hasaranga have been allowed to participate in the second phase of the Indian Premier League 2021.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore team has selected Vanindu Hasaranga and Chameera as the replacements for Adam Zampa and Daniel Sams. The Sri Lankan board said in a statement that the players have been allowed by the SLC in consultation with the Technical Advisory Committee.
The board said through this statement that both these players of Sri Lanka have been issued no-objection certificates to join the IPL 2021 team from 15 September.
Both these Sri Lankan players will join the Sri Lankan team on October 10 to play two warm-up matches before the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Qualifier.
